Water-filled type dam WFT-1000 for flood control
Water filled type dam - WFT-1000 is a water filled portable tube shape barrier bladder,
which can be positioned to contain or divert the flow of water.
WFT-1000 is lightweight and easy to handle and can be used in virtually any location.
On-site requirements are just a portable pump and the usually abundant local water supply.
WFT-1000 is environmentally safe and specifically designed to provide rapid deployment. The result is a flexible and stable water filled barrier to contain, divert, and control the flow of water.
The unique combination of properties makes WFT-1000 ideal for a wide variety of applications.
WFT-1000 manufacturing from high straight PVC coated Nylon with standard length 50 linear metes and supplied with 4 pieces of charge 100 mm fire-type or cam-loc adapters (connectors) and 2 pieces 150 mm drain caps.
For increase height of barrier WFT-1000 ease to combine by 2 or 3 in one line (see scheme bellow) with supplied textile belt ring.
For protection shell of dam from dirty flood stream, WFT-1000 is supplied with garter for frication of standard cargo pallets (sheet).
The key advantages offered by WFT-1000, when compared to traditional water control measures, are the ease and speed of deployment and the protection of the wetland environment.
The past practices of building earthen barriers in aquatic systems, usually by digging or trenching with large pieces of equipment, commonly caused long-term siltation damage to the water environment.

WFT-1000 provides a practical alternative to these methods, as it does not use fill materials.
Unlike temporary earthen dams and other methods, WFT-1000 introduces no pollutants into the waterway and do not disturb either the streambed or the bank.
